The colours of the Charolais

To celebrate our 10th anniversary the visitor centre is displaying the works of local artists that represent the region and its cattle rearing heritage: “The colours of the Charolais” ("Nos Charolaises prennent des couleurs".)

« Nos Charolaises prennent des couleurs » - local artists have personnalised 13 life-sized models of Charolais cows which are displayed in our grounds «  dans le grandeur nature »

Each cow has been uniquely interpreted to represent the Charolais race and in particular:
> its high quality beef - the result of generations of cattle rearing respecting nature and the environment.
> the region – its history, its natural riches, and how these have given rise to its successful economy.

This exhibition is on show at the Maison de Charolais until 2013.
