Welcome to the Charolais-Brionnais area
This area is situated in the south west of the department of Saône-et-Loire – an area of beauty with a rich and diverse history.
For those who like outdoor activities there are numerous ways to explore the countryside - on foot, by bike, on roller blades, or horseback, by using the many waymarked paths and voies vertes* which the region has to offer. You can also explore the area by boat on the region’s canal network.
*these are disused railway lines which have been develop to be used as countryside trails, ideal for walking, cycling and rollerblading.
