Audio-guided tour (approx. 1h)
The visit of 3 rooms immerses you in the heart of the cradle of this exceptional breed of cattle. The breeding of these animals no longer holds any secrets for you and you will understand that the quality of this meat is no coincidence!
The geology, the hedges, the grass, the know-how of the breeders, are all factors which allow us to obtain an exceptional meat. You come out as an informed consumer with many tips for choosing and cooking Charolais.
Enjoy the view of the bocage and its hills from the top of the tower.
To complete your experience, finish with a tasting of meat and Charolais sausage accompanied by a glass of red wine.

Familial visits
Visit the discovery area in a different way! All family members participate! An opportunity to get together to share and experience moments together.
Depending on the time of year, 3 family adventure courses will take you on a journey that will allow children to learn while having fun.
Go and meet the cows!
Your adventure bag is given to you at the reception desk, (you will then take it home) to go on a family trip across France. About fifteen games await you: games for 7 families, stomach flaps, crosswords, temperature reading, cow puzzle, touch boxes, films, coded message, blind tasting... To make sure you don't forget any of the discoveries, fill in your travel notebook.
The end of the visit remains unexpected, nevertheless, know that until the end of the visit you and your children will be kept in suspense...

From nursery school to BTS, a visit suitable for all ages! Do not hesitate to contact our school manager to design your personalised programme.
The discovery area is composed of 3 rooms, allowing you to organise the visit in several groups. You will find many themes to work on.
Room From grass to plate
- Rumination of the cow, role of the 4 stomachs.
- Different breeds of cattle in France.
- What is meat? Why do we need to eat it? Where does it come from?
- Vocabulary: calf, cow, bull, heifer, grazer.
- Traceability, signs of quality.
- Work of the butcher, of the restaurateur.
Breeding room
- The work of the Charolais cattle breeder over the seasons.
- Evolution of farm buildings.
- Cattle feeding (boxes with hay, straw, various cereals).
- Marketing methods.
- Bocage: its role, its maintenance.

An animator guides the children during 1h15 for a playful visit. Knowledge is transmitted through numerous games allowing the children to participate and be actors of the visit.

1h30 of visit during which a passionate guide invites you to discover how the Charolais cow transforms grass into quality meat.
A visit of 3 rooms that will immerse you in the heart of the cradle of this breed of cattle. The breeding of these white animals will no longer hold any secrets for you and you will understand that the quality of this meat is no coincidence !
Self-guided tour, commented tasting "The Charolaise experience"
Separated into 3 groups, you can freely visit the 3 rooms of our discovery area. You will have to be attentive to the slightest information, because the 3 groups will meet at the end of the visit in the tasting area to compete in the game "the Charolais experience". Our facilitator will ask you about ten questions. The first group to answer will receive a prize. Good mood guaranteed! The visit becomes participatory and not just auditory.

Farm visit (approx. 2h), meeting the breeder
A farmer welcomes you and guides you through his farm. You will perceive the reality of how a farm operates in its environment. Real exchange time between producer and consumer.!
